The NATO Modelling and Simulation Introductory Course on the fundamentals of Modelling and Simulation was developed by NATO M&S COE.

It covers the origin of military M&S, basic terminology used in the M&S domain and classification of M&S applications according to the NATO Modelling and Simulation Master Plan.

It serves as the introduction into the M&S as a potential military discipline.” It is offered through the ACT environment.
